² “The comely and ^(A)dainty one, ^(B)the daughter of Zion, I will cut off.
³ “^(C)Shepherds and their flocks will come to her,
They will ^(D)pitch their tents ^[a]around her,
They will pasture each in his ^[b]place.
⁴ “^[c](E)Prepare war against her;
Arise, and let us ^[d]attack at ^(F)noon.
Woe to us, for the day declines,
For the shadows of the evening lengthen!
